Shipping policy

At The Brass Rabbit Co., every order is carefully packaged to help ensure your vintage and antique treasures arrive safely.

Processing Time

Orders are typically packaged and shipped within 5–7 business days after payment has been received. During periods of high order volume or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Methods

We ship through trusted carriers and select the shipping service that provides the best combination of value and reliability for your order. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Packaging

Vintage and antique items require specialized packing materials and techniques to help protect fragile and one-of-a-kind pieces during transit. Whenever appropriate, we use protective wrapping, cushioning, and sturdy shipping boxes.  For sustainability, we frequently use recycled materials.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, destination, and insurance requirements of each order. Any applicable shipping charges will be communicated prior to shipment.

Insurance

Most orders are shipped with insurance to help protect against loss or damage during transit. Insurance coverage is included when appropriate based on the value and nature of the item.

Delivery

Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery times are the responsibility of the carrier. The Brass Rabbit Co. is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier service interruptions, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may require additional shipping charges before they can be resent.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available in the Houston, Texas area by appointment. Selecting local pickup eliminates shipping charges.

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the unopened package before opening it whenever possible. If an item is damaged during transit, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy and contact us within 14 days of delivery with the required documentation so we can assist you with a shipping claim.
