Antique French Porcelaine de Paris Turquoise & Gilt Porcelain Desk Piece

An exceptionally pretty piece of antique French porcelain, featuring a dreamy turquoise blue ground, creamy white accents, and elaborate hand-applied gilt detailing. Its graceful Rococo-inspired form features scrolling ends, raised floral embellishments, ornate feet, and two coordinating turquoise-and-gold mounted accents.

The underside bears a Porcelaine de Paris crossed-arrows mark along with a handwritten “Made in France” inscription. The design reflects the Sèvres-inspired French porcelain tradition popular around the turn of the 20th century.
